My favourite eyeshadow palette: Too Faced Natural Palette

Too Faced's Natural eye palette has been a favourite of mine for long over a year now, being my go to every day (and even sometimes night) eye. Beautifully pigmented and fairly easily blendable, these warm shadows are perfect for highlighting your eyes. With a good primer, this eyeshadow has great staying powder, and won't crease all day! As an extra bonus, it comes with 3 cards with tutorials for different looks. The only fault I have with this palette is that there is no mirror!

Heaven (matte cream coloured shadow), Velvet Revolver(matte grey shadow), Sexpresso (very dark brown/black, slight shimmer)

Silk Teddy (Beige with gold shimmer), Push up (bronze with shimmer), Cocoa Puff (chocolate brown with fine gold sparkles)

Nude beach (pink with large gold sparkles), Honey Pot (gold shimmery), Erotica (very dark grey with small gold sparkles)
My favourite way to use this palette is using a mixture of Heaven and Silk Teddy across the lid, and Push-Up and Cocoa Puff in the outer corner and crease.

Note: Cocoa Puff and Erotica are mislabelled in my palette

Gap year plans

Before I go out into the big wide world of university, I decided to take a year out in order to save some money and have some fun. My plans so far are somewhat undecided, with only some set in stone. Here is a rough guide to my gap year plans:

  • Work full time until December (I work in a cafe, which is great fun)
  • Ski season working in a hotel as a waitress from December to early April, in Switzerland
  • Travel to Austria for 3 weeks of end of season snowboarding (and to visit my friend doing a season in St Anton
  • 2 weeks backpacking around Ireland
  • Work and travel, hopefully to North America, or Inter-railing around Europe
